HOW TO ADD PERSONALITY WITH SHIPLAP

We are always looking for simple, cost-effective ways to update a space. Currently we’re LOVING Metrie’s Complete Pre-Painted Shiplap for both these reasons. Metrie’s shiplap comes pre-painted so all you need to do is measure, cut and it’s ready to install! It’s such an easy and simple way to transform a space in just one day!

Shiplap can be fairly versatile. It can be used on walls, ceilings, installed horizontally or vertically depending on what look you’re going for. The shiplap can also be added to the back of open cubbies or used as a kitchen backsplash to add an extra touch of detail. With the addition of texture, it can take a basic room and make it a custom dream! We have used shiplap on several projects and are excited to show you the spaces when they’re complete. Metrie’s Complete Pre-Painted Shiplap comes prefinished in white, although if you want to add a bit more drama to your space it can be painted any color. Painting can make the walls or ceiling pop to create a dramatic focal point in any room. Currently, we are loving the drama of dark shiplap walls in the pictures below that contrast with the lighter materials and create a stand-out space.
