A custom home crafted for a growing young family with a perfect combination of styles to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The home exudes a light and bright relaxed transitional feel with a mix of modern elements.

The kitchen is the heart of the home with special attention to tradition and durability. This was accomplished through the use of black hardware, two-tone shaker style cabinetry layered with warm tone wood grain and light warm grey tones. The cabinetry provides ample storage space and the black hardware adds a touch of contrast to the space. The dining area features a coffered ceiling, a traditional design element that adds depth and texture to the space. It also adds functionality by hiding a beam, duct work, and other mechanical items. A coffered ceiling is a perfect way to create division within an open floorplan, assist with acoustics and add some warmth to what could be a cold space.

A clean and modern stairwell adds some contrast to the space and stands out as a feature of the main floor. Glass panels stretch from wall to wall and floor to ceiling to channel light through the space and keep it feeling light and bright.

Adding custom details to spaces such as the bedroom brings charm, elegance, and warmth. Light gray panel walls provide a sense of serenity and calmness—the perfect atmosphere for a private oasis, made for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. The principal bathroom blends traditional and modern design elements, with silver hardware and black countertops that pull their colour from the marbling on the floor. The black marble in the shower contrasts the rest of the bathroom, for a unique and stylish look. A durable laundry room can be a thing of beauty. Intricate black and white floor tiles provide a sense of elegance and style. The layout is designed with function in mind and ensures that doing laundry is as easy and efficient as possible.
